The 'Rents tried to pull a fast one on me. They put me in my Bumbo Seat, fastened my bib, tucked in a napkin, got me all ready for Cereal Time - this has been our daily ritual all week. They even gave me a couple spoonfuls of yummy cereal, THEN they did a switcharoonie
(those sly dogs) and gave me a spoonful of this weird green stuff called "green beans". It tasted funny. I managed to get down a few spoonfuls with only a slight grimace each time. Eventually, Daddy took pity on me and switched back to cereal. I finished the whole serving. Then, he tried to go back to the green beans, but I was on to them this time.

I wouldn't have anything to do with it - I spit it back out, turned my head, and sealed my lips. That stuff was funky, especially after the cereal. Mommy made me another tablespoon of cereal, followed by a bottle of formula, for my efforts. :-)

I love your apprehensive look. haha.
Your parents are very tricky. Thanks for the post...i'm going to have to watch out for my mommy - she plans to give me some of this mystery green stuff this week...
Yuck. Green Veggies. The look on your face says it all!
In happier news I got new spoons finally... I think I have the same ones as you! Yellow, blue and red? Mommy feeds me with the blue one and lets me hold the red one... I like to shove it in my mouth the whole time. Sometimes she fills it with food and lets me use it myself... very messy indeed. I eat in my diaper on account of how messy I am!
Mommy discovered that my spoons change color if the food's too hot. They'll turn white if it's really hot. Isn't that cool?
Where do I get a spoon like that?!
We got ours at Babies 'R' Us.
My Mommy's not so swift. It took her a couple days to figure out what was wrong with the spoons. She thought they were defective because when she washed them they turned white. Then the color came back. She was very confused until Daddy told her what was happening. Silly Mommy!
