I slept through most of my
first airplane ride. Mommy & Daddy woke me up way too early. After all the excitement at the airport - checking in, security, preboarding - I crashed out soon

after we got settled into our seats. I slept like a baby, missing take-off and most of our flight. I was my typical happy self when I finally did wake up an hour before landing. I enjoyed flirting with the flight attendants & other passengers and looking out the window.

We flew non-stop to Chicago Midway and rented a mini van to drive the rest of the way to Michigan to avoid dealing with a lengthy layover and another flight.

We'd need some wheels anyway. To burn off some energy, Daddy let me drive. Well, sort of, we weren't really moving, we were parked at a rest area. A kid can pretend, though. We drove all the way to Ann Arbor and stayed with Sophia & her parents for a couple days.
